Miss Chrissy’s Cake

I’m on Facebook—and I talk about cakes and fondant A LOT!  One day–after many posts and threads pertaining to the two a friend happened to mention that we were giving her cravings.  Well, the only “friendly” way to relieve such pain and suffering—I made her a cake!

What you don’t see is that this is a quad-layer decadent carrot cake with a yummy cream cheese frosting.  I never really realized how difficult it is to create a cake—for no particular reason.  No Happy Birthday—no wedding…just a plain old every day “Friend” cake.  I think it looks a bit like an English hat–but hey, it was cute–and I got to use my fun little cake stand!
