Scout’s 100th Birthday
For the Blue & Gold Banquet the Scout leaders ordered a big 100th Birthday cake for dessert. The loop around the top is the actual celebration loop that encircles the World Crest patch on the boys uniform. Each den was represented around the sides of the cake, and what says “scouting” more than the stars and stripes??
Conversation Hearts
Late last night my 6th grader asked if I would make him a heart cake for his Valentine’s party at school. Hey, no thought that it was way too late to begin baking at that point—he just knew it could be done–so he asked!
Grave Digger Birthday Cake
For my 10 year old’s birthday he wanted a monster truck cake, and it had to be Grave Digger. For those of you who don’t know what Grave Digger really looks like…..here he is:
